For me I don't think bloggers are journalist. Because blogger is blogger, journalism is journalism. Blog for me is something which you can write your personal things, feelings, promoting on the blog and share with the worldwide. It is something diary yet is public for everyone, share your recent activities maybe. Yet also have blog is private which just for himself/ herself. Maybe some people write blog is because of assignments just like what we doing now yet we are not journalist!
Journalist is a job which they get paid by someone. So my opinion is sometimes the thing might not be correct or not really exactly what the person said and they written on it. Journalist, automatically will think of media, so sometimes they must write something nice but actually not really that nice for example in an event or write something which more over than the realistic. For example the celebrities, sometimes maybe the incident weren't so serious or so bad yet they might write it till how serious it is. So, this make us feel like, journalist could write something which not happened until it's like really happened. That's something different between blogger and journalist.
I totally agreed with you that blogger is not journalist. As you said, journalist is a job which they get paid by someone. Journalist is paid to work but the blogger is just for sharing. A blogger would like to share everything he knows or sees on his blog for feeless. But a journalist uses all his knowledge to earn money.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree. Blogger is more like a space for us to share our personal life to the world and voice out our thoughts and opinion as well. But for journalist, they have to write for the media, and mostly are not able to point out their own opinion about that particular topic they are writing because they need to be unbiased to serve the public good.
ReplyDeleteYa!i agree with you. We did blogging but we are not journalist. Blogger is for us to share our things and it just like our diary. For journalist, they can't share their things yet just writing the facts to get paid by someone.
