I think Blogger is not a journalist. Journalism will write the report in a formal way and blogger is a way that people share their feeling, comments and others. Nowadays many people use blogger to become their digital dairy.
A news reported by journalist and blogger are totally difference. Blogger can be non-formal and journalism must be formal. So that is the difference of journalism and blogger. I agree with that journalist write and get paid because is their job and blogger is volunteer to write out their feeling and what their thinking.
i'm agree with you! as i also think that journalist have to write the new in formal ways yet blogger is more flexible! even formal or not formal, bloggers have their right to choose.

Blogging is an activity that can be done on one own's free will, but there are also agents who are paid or benefited in some ways to update and maintain a blog. Also, not all blogs are digital diaries, because some may also offer news updates and information about the subject in concern.
ReplyDeleteI'm partially agreed with you for the matter of semantics, journalist as a reporter must present their articles/reports in a very formal way. In other hand, I'm agreed with Kellie Kan too, not all blogs are digital diaries,there also many blogs that are promoting some products, services, events or even discussion like what we doing now. :)
